United Flight Attendant
announced, 'People, people we're not picking out furniture here,
find a seat and get in it!
*************************************
On landing, the stewardess said, 'Please be sure to take all of your
belongings. If you're going to leave anything, please make sure it's
something we'd like to have. '
*************************************
'There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there are only 4 ways
out of this airplane'
*************************************
An airline pilot wrote that on this particular flight he had
hammered his ship into the runway really hard. The airline had a
policy which required the first officer to stand at the door while
the passengers exited, smile, and give them a 'Thanks for flying our
airline.' He said that, in light of his bad landing, he had a hard
time looking the passengers in the eye, thinking that someone would
have a smart comment. Finally everyone had gotten off except for a
little old lady walking with a cane.
She said, 'Sir, do you mind if I ask you a question?'
'Why, no, Ma'am,' said the pilot. 'What is it?'
The little old lady said, 'Did we land, or were we shot down?'
***************************************
As the plane landed and was coming to a stop at Ronald Reagan, a
lone voice came over the loudspeaker: 'Whoa, big fella, WHOA!'
*******************************************
After a particularly rough landing during thunder-storms in Memphis,
a flight attendant on a Northwest flight announced, 'Please take
care when opening the overhead compartments because sure as hell
everything has shifted after a landing like that.'
************************* ************
Another flight attendant's comment on a
less than perfect landing: 'We ask you to please remain seated as
Captain Kangaroo bounces us to the terminal.'
*************************************
Overheard on an American Airlines flight into Amarillo, Texas on a
particularly windy and bumpy day: During the final approach, the
Captain was really having to fight it. After an extremely hard
landing, the Flight Attendant said, 'Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome
to Amarillo! . Please remain in your seats with your seat belts
fastened while the Captain taxis what's left of our airplane to the
gate!'
***********************************
'Your seat cushions can be used for flotation; and, in the event of
an emergency water landing, please paddle to shore and take them
with our compliments.'
***********************************
'As you exit the plane, make sure to gather all of your belongings.
Anything left behind will be distributed evenly among the flight
attendants. Please do not leave children or spouses......except for
that gentleman over there.'
******************************************
Heard on Southwest Airlines just after a very hard landing in Salt
Lake City . The flight attendant came on the intercom and said,
'That was quite a bump, and I know what y'all are thinking. I'm here
to tell you it wasn't the airline's fault, it wasn't the pilot's
fault, it wasn't the flight attendant's fault, it was the asphalt'
****************************************
After a real crusher of a landing in Phoenix, the attendant came on
with, 'Ladies and Gentlemen, please remain in your seats until Capt.
Crash and the Crew have brought the aircraft to a screeching halt
against the gate. And, once the tire smoke has cleared and the
warning bells are silenced, we'll open the door and you can pick
your way through the wreckage to the terminal.'
****************************************
Part of a flight attendant's arrival announcement: 'We'd like to
thank you folks for flying with us today. And, the next time you get
the insane urge to go blasting through the skies in a pressurized
metal tube, we hope you'll think of US Airways'
****************************************
Heard on a Southwest Airline flight - 'Ladies and gentlemen, if you
wish to smoke, the smoking section on this airplane is on the wing
and if you can light 'em, you can smoke 'em.'
****************************************
A plane was taking off from Kennedy Airport After it reached a
comfortable cruising altitude, the captain made an announcement over
the intercom, 'Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking.
Welcome to Flight Number 293, nonstop from New York to Los Angeles.
The weather ahead is good and, therefore, we should have a smooth
and uneventful flight. Now sit back and relax... OH, MY GOD!'
Silence followed, and after a few minutes, the captain came back on
the intercom and said, 'Ladies and Gentlemen, I am so sorry if I
scared you earlier. While I was talking to you, the flight attendant
accidentally spilled a cup of hot coffee in my lap. You should see
the front of my pants!'
A passenger in Coach yelled, 'That's nothing. You should see the
back of mine!

Reverend Ole was the
pastor of the local Norwegian Lutheran Church , and Pastor Sven was
the minister of the Swedish Covenant Church across the road. One day
they were seen pounding a sign into the ground, that said::
"DA END ISS NEAR! TURN YERSELF AROUND NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE"
As a car sped past them, the driver leaned out his window and
yelled, "Leave us alone, you religious nuts!"
From the curve we heard screeching tires and a big splash... Rev.
Ole turns to Pastor Sven and asks, "Do ya tink maybe da sign should
yust say 'Bridge Out'?" |
|
Ole married an attractive woman, Lena, half
his age. After several months, Lena complained that she had never
climaxed during sex, and, according to her Grandma, all Norwegian
farm women are entitled to a climax once in a while. So, to
resolve the problem, they went to see the large-animal Vet (since
there was no trustworthy doctor anywhere in Mower County). The
Vet didn't have a clue, but he did recall how, during the hot
summer, his mother and dad, Olga and Sven, would fan a cow that was
having difficulty birthing a calf to cool her down and make her
struggles easier. So, the Vet told them to hire a strong, virile,
young man to wave a towel over them while they were having sex.
This, the Vet said, would cause the young wife to climax. So
the couple hired a young man from the big city of Minneapolis named
Lars to wave a towel over them as the
Vet suggested. After many efforts, still no climax. They went
back to the Vet. The Vet said for Lena to change partners and let
Lars have sex with her while Ole waved the towel. They tried
it that night and Lena went into wild, screaming, ear-splitting
climaxes, one after the other. When it was over, Ole smugly
looked down at Lars and said, 'Ya see, city slicker, now DAT's how
ya wave da towel! |

Just before the funeral services, the
undertaker came up to the very elderly widow and asked, 'How old was
your husband?' '98,' she replied. 'Two years older than me.' 'So
you're 96,' the undertaker commented. She responded, 'Hardly worth
going home, is it?'
Reporters interviewing a 104-year-old woman: 'And what do you think
is the best thing about being 104?' the reporter asked. She simply
replied, 'No peer pressure.'
The nice thing about being senile is you can hide your own Easter
eggs
I've sure gotten old! I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip
replacement, new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes. I'm
half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40
different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to
blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly
feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92. Have
lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver's
license.
I feel like my body has gotten totally out of shape, so I got my
doctor's permission to join a fitness club and start exercising. I
decided to take an aerobics class for seniors. I bent, twisted,
gyrated, jumped up and down, and perspired for an hour. But, by the
time I got my leotards on, the class was over.
An elderly woman decided to prepare her will and told her preacher
she had two final requests. First, she wanted to be cremated, and
second, she wanted her ashes scattered over Wal-Mart. 'Wal-Mart?'
the preacher exclaimed. 'Why Wal-Mart?' 'Then I'll be sure my
daughters visit me twice a week.'
My memory's not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my memory's not as
sharp as it used to be.
Know how to prevent sagging? Just eat till the wrinkles fill out.
It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee
maker.
These days about half the stuff in my shopping cart says, 'For fast
relief.'
Remember: You don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old
because you stop laughing.
THE SENILITY PRAYER : Grant me the senility to forget the people I
never liked anyway , the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and
the eyesight to tell the difference. |

An old Italian lived alone in New Jersey .
He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but it was very
difficult work, as the ground was hard. His only son, Vincent, who
used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his
son and described his predicament:
Dear Vincent,
I am feeling pretty sad, because it looks like I won't be able to
plant my tomato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be
digging up a garden plot. I know if you were here my troubles would
be over. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me, like in
the old days.
Love, Papa
A few days later he received a letter from his son.
Dear Pop,
Don't dig up that garden. That's where the bodies are buried.
Love, Vinnie
At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and
dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized
to the old man and left. Later, That same day the old man received a
telegram from his son.
Dear Pop, Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best
I could do under the circumstances.
Love you, Vinnie |

A guy was driving
around the back woods of Tennessee and he saw a sign in front of a
broken down shanty-style house: "Talking Dog for Sale".
He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in
the backyard. The guy goes into the back yard and sees a nice
looking Beagle sitting there.
"You talk?" he asks.
"Yep," the Beagle replies.
After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says
"So, what's your story?"
The Beagle looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk
when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told
the CIA and they had me sworn into the toughest branch of the armed
services...the United States Marines. You know one of their
nicknames is "The Devil Dogs."
"In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country,
sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders; because no one
figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most
valuable spies for eight years running, but the jetting around
really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger. So, I
decided to settle down."
"I retired from the Corps (8 dog years is 56 Corps years) and signed
up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security,
wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered
some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals. I got
married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired."
The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants
for the dog.
"Ten dollars," the guy says.
"Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him
so cheap?"
"Because he's such a BS'er ... He never did any of that stuff. He
was in the Navy!" |

Colonoscopies are no
joke, but these comments during the exam were quite humorous..... A
physician claimed that the following are actual comments made by his
patients (predominately male) while he was performing their
colonoscopies:
1. 'Take it easy, Doc. You're boldly going where no man has gone
before!
2. 'Find Amelia Earhart yet?'
3. 'Can you hear me NOW?'
4. 'Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?'
5. 'You know, in Arkansas, we're now legally married.'
6. 'Any sign of the trapped miners, Chief?'
7. 'You put your left hand in, you take your left hand out...'
8. 'Hey! Now I know how a Muppet feels!'
9. 'If your hand doesn't fit, you must quit!
10. 'Hey Doc, let me know if you find my dignity.'
11. 'You used to be an executive at Enron, didn't you?'
12. 'God, now I know why I am not gay.'
And the best one of all..
13. 'Could you write a note for my wife saying that my head is not
up there?' |

Mrs. Donovan was walking down O'Connell
Street in Dublin when she met up with Father Flaherty. The Father
said, "Top o' the mornin' to ye! Aren't ye Mrs. Donovan and didn't I
marry ye and yer hoosband two years ago?'
She replied, "Aye, that ye did, Father."
The Father asked, "And be there any wee little ones yet?"
She replied, "No, not yet, Father."
The Father said, "Well now, I'll be goin' to Rome next week and I'll
light a candle for ye and yer hoosband."
She replied, "Oh, thank ye, Father."
They then parted ways.
Some years later they met again.
The Father asked, "Well now, Mrs. Donovan, how are ye these days?"
She replied, "Oh, very well, Father!"
The Father asked, "And tell me, have ye any wee ones yet?"
She replied, "Oh yes, Father! Three sets of twins and four
singles--10 in all!"
The Father said, "That's wonderful! How is yer loving hoosband
doing?"
She replied, "'E's gone to Rome to blow out yer candle!" |

Ole had a traffic accident. In court, the

asked the lawyer.
Ole responded, 'Vell, I'll tell you vat happened. I had yust loaded

'I didn't ask for any details', the lawyer interrupted. 'Just answer

Ole said, 'Vell, I had yust got Bessie into da trailer and I was
driving down da road....'
The lawyer interrupted again and said, 'Judge, I am trying to
establish the fact that, at the scene of the accident, this man told
Minnesota the Highway Patrolman on the scene that he was just fine.
Now several weeks after the accident he is trying to sue my client.
I believe he is a fraud. Please tell him to simply answer the
question.'
By this time, the Judge was fairly interested in Ole's answer and
said to the lawyer, 'I'd like to hear what he has to say about his
favorite mule, Bessie'.
Ole thanked the Judge and proceeded. 'Vell as I vas saying, I had
yust loaded Bessie, my favorite mule, into da trailer and vas

Paddy
had been drinking at his local Dublin pub all day and most of the
night. Mick, the bartender, says "You'll not be drinkin' any more
tonight, Paddy."
Paddy replies "OK
Mick, I'll be on me way then." Paddy spins around on his stool and
steps off. He falls flat on his face. "What the..." he says and
pulls himself up by the stool and dusts himself off.
He takes a step towards the door and falls flat on his face again.
"Dang!" he says.
He looks to the doorway and thinks that if he can just get to the
door and get some fresh air he'll be fine. He belly crawls to the
door and shimmies up the door frame. He sticks his head outside and
takes a deep breath of fresh air, feels much better and takes a step
out onto the pavement and falls flat on his face.
"My Goodness...I'm soused," he says.
He can see his house just a few doors down, and decides to try for
it. He crawls down the street and shimmies up the door frame, opens
the door and looks inside He takes a look up the stairs and says,
"No flappin' way."
But he somehow crawls up the stairs to his bedroom door and thinks,
"I think I can make it to the bed." He takes a step into the room
and falls flat on his face again. He says, "This is hell; I gotta
stop drinkin'," but manages to crawl to the bed and fall in.
The next morning, his wife comes into the room carrying a cup of
coffee and says, "Get up Paddy. Did you have a bit to drink last
night?"
Paddy says, "That I did, Jess. I was totally pissfaced. But how'd
you know?"
"Mick called...You left your wheelchair at the pub." |

A blonde calls her
boyfriend and says, "Please come over here and help me. I have a
killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get started."
Her boyfriend asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?"
The blonde says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a
rooster."
Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle.
She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all
over the table.
He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then
turns to her and says, "First of all, no matter what we do, we're
not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything
resembling a rooster."
He takes her hand and says, "Second, I want you to relax. Let's have
a nice cup of tea, and then...," he said with a deep sigh,...
"lets put all the cornflakes back in the box." |

An old country preacher had a
teenage son, and it was getting time the boy should give some
thought to choosing a profession.
Like many young men, the boy didn't really know what he wanted to
do, and he didn't seem to concerned about it.
One day, while the boy was away to school, his father decided to try
an experiment. He went into the boy's room and placed on his study
table four objects:
A bible
A silver dollar
A bottle of whisky
And a Playboy magazine.
"I'll just hide behind the door", the old preacher said to himself.
"When he comes home from school this afternoon, "I'll see which
object he picks up.
If it's the bible, he's going to be a preacher like me and what a
blessing that would be!
If he picks up the dollar, he's going to be a business man, and that
would be okay, too.
But if he picks up the bottle. he's going to be a no-good drunkard,
and Lord, what a shame that would be.
And worst of all if he picks up that magazine he's going to be a
skirt-chasing bum.
The old man waited anxiously, and soon heard his son's foot-steps as
he entered the house whistling and headed for his room.
The boy tossed his books on the bed, and as he turned to leave the
room he spotted the objects on the table. With curiosity in his eye,
he walked over to inspect them.
Finally, he picked up the Bible and placed it under his arm.
He picked up the silver dollar and dropped into his pocket.
He uncorked the bottle and took a big drink while he admired this
months centerfold.
"Lord have mercy." the old preacher disgustedly whispered. "He's
gonna run for Congress." Submitted

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

An
Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand pulling a male
buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter, "Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Sure, Chief. Coming right up."
He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee. The Indian drinks the
coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the
shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then
just walks out.
The next morning the Indian returns. He has his shotgun in one hand,
pulling another male buffalo with the other. He walks up to the
counter and says to the waiter, "Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Whoa, Tonto! We're still cleaning up your mess
from yesterday. What was all that about, anyway?"
The Indian smiles and proudly says, "Training for position in United
States Congress: Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess
for others to clean up, disappear for rest of day. " |

Next time you think your
hotel bill is too high you might want to consider this...
A husband and wife are traveling by car from Key West to Boston.
After almost twenty-four hours on the road, they're too tired to
continue, and they decide to stop for a rest.
They stop at a nice hotel and take a room, but they only plan to
sleep for four hours and then get back on the road. When they check
out four hours later, the desk clerk hands them bill for $350.
The man explodes and demands to know why the charge is so high. He
tells the clerk although it's a nice hotel, the rooms certainly
aren't worth $350.
When the clerk tells him $350 is the standard rate, the man insists
on speaking to the Manager.
The Manager appears, listens to the man, and then explains that the
hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference center that
were available for the husband and wife to use.
But we didn't use them," the man complains.
"Well, they are here, and you could have," explains the Manager. He
goes on to explain they could have taken in one of the shows for
which the hotel is famous. "The best entertainers from New York,
Hollywood and Las Vegas perform here," the Manager says.
"But we didn't go to any of those shows," complains the man again.
"Well, we have them, and you could have," the Manager replies.
No matter what facility the Manager mentions, the man replies, "But
we didn't use it!"
The Manager is unmoved, and eventually the man gives up and agrees
to pay.
He writes a check and gives it to the Manager.
The Manager is surprised when he looks at the check. "But Sir," he
says, this check is only made out for $50."
"That's correct," says the man. "I charged you $300 for sleeping
with my wife."
"But I didn't!" exclaims the Manager.
"Well, too bad," the man replies. "She was here and you could have."
