| A Cold War Recognition Certificate is obtainable
for all U.S. Government civilian employees and military personnel who served
between 9-2-45 and 12-26-91. To request the certificate download an
application form at
www.hrc.army.mil/site/active/tagd/coldwar/default.htm. Time is of
the essence as the program, which began in 1998, expires in 2008. Proof of
service (i.e., a copy of DD Form 214) must be enclosed with the completed
application. |

A Good Tip to pass
on..............
When someone is trying to
get into your house, or if you hear a noise outside your house, keep your
car keys next to your bed on the night stand and just press the panic alarm
on your car. It will go off from most everywhere inside your house and
keep honking until your battery runs down or until you reset it with the
button on the key chain."
Perhaps having your cell phone accessible would be a good idea too.
A lot of burglars will cut your telephone line before breaking in so this is
a real good idea. Could save your life. |

Ray Kittles was given the
Department of South Carolina Marine Corps League Associate Member of the
year. This is the first time the award was given and Ray is in the History
